*Job Title: Sr.QA Tester Location: Hartford,CT Duration: 6+ Months* *Required skills The ideal candidates will have a broad background in software testing, including experience with functional and non-functional testing, black box testing and UAT. Must have some familiarity with SDLC and project delivery methods. The person will work under the direction of an FTE QA professional in a small team environment and must be able to work independently. Responsibilities: developing test plans, test designs and cases; test execution; creation of defect reports and triage facilitation; Analyzing test execution results and working closely with project managers, developers and business users to prioritize and execute tests. Required Skills: The applicants must have experience testing web, mainframe and MS Windows based applications. Testing of Lotus Notes based applications and experience with testing applications deployed in virtual environments a plus Competent user of HP Quality Center tool 9.2 or higher Both candidates should have beginning HP QTP and Load Runner experience One candidate should have intermediate QTP experience including experience scripting in expert view ISTQB certification a plus Looking for a local candidate based in CT only,as this spot requires a f2f interview with the client.
