I use Postscript font (Type1) with java and I have no problem (except
embedding font in pdf file, see other mails).

Did you install Adobe Type Manager
(<http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=atm&platform=wi
n>)
which is needed ?

Subject: [JAVA2D] PostScript fonts and Java

> Hello
>
> Does anybody know if there is an issue with the use of PostScript fonts by
Java? We are working with a music notation program and have tried to use
Adobe's Sonata PS font. We have not been able to make it work. However,
the TTF version of Sonata runs well. We are using Win2000 and running it
with Jbuilder and CodeWarrior.
