Then I install the PS font using the item File: Install new font... in Windows\Fonts directory.
If you use ATM to install the fonts, the font files are copied in PSFONT directory (on the root) and a link is created in the Windows\Fonts directory. In that case, Java did not find the font. If you don't succed you may also convert your font files in true type using convertor (see www.pyrus.com). Hope that will help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jose Montalvo" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, March 05, 2002 5:07 PM Subject: Re: [JAVA2D] PostScript fonts and Java > On Tue, 5 Mar 2002 09:20:16 +0100, Jean-Yves BRUD <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > >I use Postscript font (Type1) with java and I have no problem (except > >embedding font in pdf file, see other mails). > > > >Did you install Adobe Type Manager > >(<http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=atm&platform=w i > >n>) > >which is needed ? > > > > > Yes, I do. > > > >Untitled Document----------------- Jean-Yves BRUD - > >www.polyquark.com ----------------- > >----- Original Message ----- > >From: "Jose Montalvo" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >Sent: Monday, March 04, 2002 6:17 PM > >Subject: [JAVA2D] PostScript fonts and Java > > > > > >> Hello > >> > >> Does anybody know if there is an issue with the use of PostScript fonts by > >Java?
