Yea, I thought the same thing when I got started.

I'd suggest putting up some on any site that has Java3D content.
The install is pretty simple IF you know what your doing.
don't expect people who trying to view your Java3D content to know how to install
the plug-in. You can get the Java Plug-in to install automaticly (I'd warn the user
it's going to take a while but is worth the effort and is a one time deal. you could
use the same explanations sun uses) but you'll need to have them download and install
the Java3D files (just post the link). the only think I didn't account for is the fact
they need to have OpenGl or DirectX installed on their system.

btw - you don't have to move the dll and jars around the current installation program
puts them in the correct place by default.
