I was looking into buying some 3D glasses to get into stereo viewing aspects
of Java 3D. then I read FAQ

supported on Sun workstations. PCs with stereo hardware will be able to use
stereo in the next release.

Is this right? It wont work today with Windows NT?
So when is the next release due out?
And while I am on the subject of next release...
I don't understand why we have to wait for a "next release" to have bug
problems fixed. Why doesn't the Sun development team release "patches" as
they solve each bug, rather than saving up all bug fixes into a next
release.... I would love to get bug fixes as soon as the bug is fixed
rather than waiting another 6 months or so for the next release.
