That url might list the technologies but leaves me having to click 40+ links
to find out what each is.

Even then, I tried the Java Management Extensions (JMX) link and the link
didn't tell me what it was at all, just another page of links related or
specific to JMX.

Isn't this stuff summarised anywhere in one place?  Various technologies
might get more use if a) people knew of them and b) people knew what it was

Is someone at SUN listening?
