I installed the JDK for Java 1.2.2, and Java 3D 1.1.3 on a Windows
machine. I installed both in the default area where each wanted to be
placed. After I installed the plugin which comes with the JDK I only needed
to open the Java Plugin Console and change the dir to C:\jdk1.2.2 where both
the above had been installed. If you install Java3D in the default dir for
the
plugin C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.2 then I guess you would not need
to change the dir in the console window. I can now view Java3D in an applet.
