Hey there people. I was wondering if anyone has come up on this error.
I have a windows NT 4.0 box, with a nVidia TNT2 Ultra card
Pre:
I can run all Java3d demos fine
using 1.1.3 beta for opengl
using jdk1.2.2
Problems:
In our app, we can load up our full application fine, but when we load up the
component that does some kind of java3d stuff I get a weird error.
a windows popup says this
"Initialization of the dynamic link library c:\winnt\system32\ddraw.dll failed.
The process is terminating abnormally."
I run verbose:jni and the last jni message is on
Dynamic Linking method javax.media.j3d.Canvas3D.createContext
and with the class verbose on it is at
javax.media.j3d.RenderObject
Any ideas here?
The app runs fine on some machines, and on others we get this error. It is not
confined to the TNT2 card either, it happend with an ati rage pro card as well.
In the mean time, I am going to try loading up really simple canvases and see
what happens.
Thanks for anyones help.
please cc [EMAIL PROTECTED] for any replies, since I just get the list in
digest form.
