Windows popup? Really smth weird... (and advanced? We all get used to
Console error messages only, with no GUI output). Well, didn't get
what u wanted to say by loading full application, then loading one of
its components, etc, but the only idea i have is to check up the
version of DirectX u have (remember, it should be >= 6.1). I used to
run into some weird errors when i used incorrect version of DX (none
of this exact type though, but connected with ddraw.dll as well). Ohh,
gees, now i see. Are u sure u use the OpenGL version of Java3D? It
looks like u DO use the DX one. And u can't use Java3D DirectX version on
WinNT platform. WinNT has support ONLY 4 DirectX 3.1a (with
ServicePack3). Naturally u would have such kind of error. If u r 100%
sure u use OpenGL version after all, install SP3 or higher, see what
happens. (Though, repeat, OpenGL version should have ABSOLUTELY
nothing to do with DX library). If this wouldn't help as well, then
try to use the release (not Beta) version of this library (1.1.3).

Good luck
vladimir
