Hi, I realize that the swing/j3d flickering problem has pretty much been beaten to death, but I have a new twist (at least I haven't seen it come up in discussion). The problem I am having is that once in a while the "flickering" seems to get stuck, i.e. the canvas get covered over by the color of the swing component behind it. Usually, the canvas can be brought back by using a pulldown menu to trigger a flicker, but not always. On occasion, nothing short of closing the app and re-opening will revive it. This is happening on several NT configurations (dell w/fireGL1 & dell laptop w/ATi mobility chip).
