Forget about running your Lightwave enabled program as an applet,
since currently URL loading of lightwave files is not implemented yet
(at least it hasn't been in J3D 1.1.x versions). I posted quite a big
issue on this topic some time ago. But generally speaking, if u r
using smth that can be currently loaded via URL (eg, obj - well, with
some bug messages, but it is loaded -, or wrl) u can put your model
into .jar file and get the model via jar: protocol. This worked for me
perfectly fine, though some guys here say that loading jarred textured vrml
object doesn't work correctly (i guess the loader just can't resolve
image's file name inside .jar file)
