Hi Desiree and Sandra and all the others,

I guess you have SuSE and XFree86 4.0 installed. Since I upgraded to
Xfre86 4.0 I get the same segmentation violation from time to time in
random order. I think the problem is located somewhere in Blackdowns
j3d1.1.3 port, which clearly does not work well with XFree86 4.0. So
we have to wait for a newer j3d release from Blackdown or downgrade
either to j3d1.1.1 or XFree86 3.X. On the other side SuSE offers
frequently updates to XFree86 4.0. I hope, but don't believe, that one
of those updates solves the problem.
