Hi List Members,

In a CAD application, I am dealing with relatively few planar objects
(say hundreds of polygon plates, etc). By treating each one of these as
a Shape3D my interactive 3D model viewing performance is not acceptable,
even on a fast PC with hardware OpenGL - So I guess this is not the
recommended approach.

It is easy enough to convert this all to strips, but can one pick
individual "triangles", and also importantly - the nodes - of these
line/triangles/quads once they are defined as strips, and are all
therefore part of one Shape3D object?

Does anyone have suggestions or comments?

Thanks in advance,

Kevin Williams
