Hi,
I have the following problem. I have written an applet that incorporates
collision detection. The applet has been run on 2 machines: one with NT
operating system, and one with Win98 running on a Compaq Presario P-III. On
the NT box the collision detection works correctly. On the Win98 the
collision detection does not work at all. The objects pass right through
each other. The same classes are being run on both machines. The collision
procedure creates boundaries and then calls the "intersect" method to
determine collision between 2 objects.
The computer with Win98 has an ATI Rage LT video card w/ 8m of RAM.
Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on? I would appreciate any
suggestions that you might have.
Thanks,
Dean Keeler
