I agree that it would be wonderful if Sun would address the issue of
providing a higher resolution timer inside of Java (and Java 3D). This
is an important consideration on Windows machines (a large portion of
the market). However I do feel that I'd rather have the Sun Java 3D
team working on other issues that seem more important: bug fixes,
performance enchancements, better documentation.
