I was searching for benchmarks for Java3D (or OpenGL) but i didn't find very
much. Tornadolabs has done one, but it's not what i was looking for. I
wondered how many polygons a scene may have, how lights, transparency and
textures influence the frame rate. How fast are Behaviours? Which background
are fast?
I guess every Java3D developer needs benchmarks. 3D realtime worlds must be
developed very carefully. One wrong decision and the frame rate will go
down.

Are there really good benchsmarks availible? Who has made some benchmarks on
his own?
I have attached my benchmarks, which should give a rough idea about using 3d
models.
