Well I can categorically say that on my system there is no improvement to
full windowed mode. If I was assured that this was true for all hardware I
would not use full screen mode, but would use a frame for all the non-3d
stuff. So I too would like to hear the answer to this. Especially since
the "full screen" look can be gotten by maximizing the window and dropping
the title bar.
