This is complete nonsense. Please refrain from restating rumors with no facts to back
them up. No such announcement can be found on the Sun site, aside from the fact that
this would mean that Sun would be producing future Java3D versions on Windows only. As
for workstations, Sun's main profit generator is its server business, so it's not
surprising if their focus seems to be there, but that doesn't mean they are giving up
on their workstation products.
