Hi everyone, I'm interested in Johns game group, although i haven't much time to do extra work. My group is developing a game with Java3D, too. It's not really a MMORPG but it's not that different - i would call it a community game. The first game concept was based on the ancient game "Elite" plus community features. This concept changed, but it gives you an idea of what this game is about... For the 3d part i use a event based client/server system using udp to communicate. I hope a early multiyplayer demo will be finished in a couple of days. If someone is interested, will mail again as soon as it's playable.
