You need to re-install plug-in into Netscape 4.7, and then run the
plug-in control panel and point it to whichever JVM you want to use
(the one with Java 3D).  Or, you can re-install the entire Java SDK,
and then re-install Java 3D.  But as it is now, since you just
installed Netscape 4.7, it doesn't know about plug-in, so it's going to
use the JVM that comes with it, which is out-of-date and doesn't have
Java 3D.

LMK how this goes.  I've never had multiple different versions of
Netscape installed at the same time using multiple different
installations of plug-in.
