Hello Java3D team, My company is interested in releasing our product(s) on as many platforms as possible simultaneously. At this point in time, the availability of Java3D is the constraining factor. A version of Java3D exists on Linux and on Windows. I have several questions: o Can we expect a version on the Mac, perhaps for MacOS X, in the coming months? o What is the lag-time and issues wrt the Linux "port"? I.e. How much time do we suspect passes between the release of 1.2.1 for Solaris and Windows and the same release for Linux (and other non-Sun supported platforms). o What arrangements can be made for porting to other platforms? I.e. If my company has a vested interest in seeing Java3D on another platform and is willing to do the port and support it a la Blackdown, how do we go about arranging such a situation? (esp if expertise and money are not issues) Keep up the good work. Thanks very much, Joe -- Joseph R.
