Hi Rudolf,

    This is cause by driver fail to recreate D3D context during
resize to a bigger Canvas using hardware accelerated rendering.

4403360 - D3D: window resize may fail if there is not enough hardware memory

We notice this in graphics card that don't have enough memory
(especially in 32 bit color mode). Switching to use 16 bit
color mode sometime help. Our v1.2.1 release (not beta2)
will address this problem by falling back to
software emulation mode in this case when resize fail for
whatever reason. Note that the following two bugs will also fix
in our release (not beta2):

4406373 - D3D: viewport did not set correctly inside Browser after it move
4373686 - D3D: Using scrollbar on Applets not working under Win32
