I would like to hear a review on "3D User Interfaces With Java 3D". I did browse
through the book on a local bookstore but it was pages and pages of theory. I thought
what good this is gonna do in terms of coding.
I have "Ready to Run Java3D", which is good for beginners and I think for reference
the "Java3D Spec" would be a good book

I've only bought one Java3D book so far. The Java3D Specification. I did
this out of desperation because I haven't found another yet that I'd be
willing to spend US$40+ on.
I'm looking forward to a chance to look at "Java 3D Programming" by our own
Daniel Selman. But no bookstore (or Amazon) has in in stock.
"3D User Interfaces With Java 3D" is supposed to be good, but I haven't been
able to find a copy at a local bookstore to browse.
I'm not happy with the tutorials at Sun. This is mostly because they don't
stick to a single subject within a chapter. I dislike examples that show
you glimpses of what's going to be properly covered in a later chapter
(BoundingSphere and Behaviors in chapter 1, for example). I always feel
that I'm being overwhelmed when reading something like that.
I haven't heard anything good about "Ready to Run Java 3D"
It seems there's definitely a market for a decent book right now. I think
this list sees a question like this one about once a month.
