Win2K works fine with the OpenGl version of J3D. HOWEVER, YOU DID NOT
MENTION THE VIDEO ACCELERATOR CARD in your machine and that will
have a major impact on J3D performance. Assuming that you got the Diamond
Fire GL2 that should work o.k. although I have no first hand experience with
that particular card.  If your Dell box has an AGP slot (some do/some don't) then
you can put in another card (such as an NVidia GeForce 2) to improve performance
if needed, although the Fire GL2 card looks good on paper. Also, you may want
to consider having at least 512 MBytes of main memory, depending on your
application.
