I am real excited.... I was just told I can go out and buy *any* laptop I want and the "company" will pay for it.
I want to make *sure* I can run Java 3D on whatever I get. I know that this has been asked before, but since new Laptops and graphics chips appear all the time, I'll ask it again:
What laptops with what graphics chips is reliable for running Java 3D, OpenGL mode, Windows 2000 operating system? (Gee I wish Java 3D worked on Apple laptops!)
I heard that there is a "new" graphics chip for laptops... Something called Ge forces mobile graphics chip? I have no idea if that's what its really called.... Anyone have any info?
A list of what to stay away from would be very useful to me as well.
Thanks,
Bob Gray
