Times they are a changing...

In the past, large email attachments were generally frowned upon on
mailing lists.

However, two things are different here.

One, large is a subjective, ever shrinking term in "Internet time".

Two, this is a graphics API list.  Very often code and/or images are
need to explain a problem or idea.

If you have too much trouble getting the email, you can always try the
online archive.  I use it all the time when I need to search as well.
