When I started working on Cave applications I decided to use Performer. After
a fruitless search for a good book, I decided to settle for any book. No
glory, couldn't find a single book on the . Talked with the SGI folks and they
kindly recommened a > $2K course to help me learn the API. Worse documentation
I have ever seen in an API.

Java3D is better, but what I'm suprised at is the lack of good 3rd party books
or even an Addison Wesley/Sun deal thats more then the API. No excuse for not
having good Sun provided documentation, but at least available books can lessen
the pain.

WOW: earthquack, bye!
