Tanju,

I did have a strange problem installing the release 1.2.1 version. I put it
down to my beaten and abused Win2k setup though!

When asked if I wanted to install for both the JDK's JRE and the 'standard'
JRE (i.e. c:\jdk1.3\jre, and c:\program files\javasoft\jre) the bloomin'
thing only installed the j3d.jar, j3daudio.jar (or whatever they're called)
into the standard JRE, and not into the JDK's JRE.

It was only the JAR's which didn't get installed however, as the .dll's were
present.

Weird huh?

Ralph.

P.S. Just copy the j3d*.jar's from one JRE to the other.

Subject: [JAVA3D] Java installation problem on Win2000

Hi,
I've downloaded "java3d-1_2_1-win32-directx-sdk.exe" file from sun's site.
I've Jdk1.3. The installer program says that installation is completed. But
it didn't install Java3D. Did anyone have same problem?
Thanks.

Tanju.
