Please verify that you have write permission in the directories in
question:
C:\jdk1.3.0_02\jre\lib\ext
C:\jdk1.3.0_02\jre\bin
C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.0_02\lib\ext
C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.0_02\bin
The installer will run to completion without displaying an error
if write permission isn't available (known bug). It runs
especially fast in this situation, and since you stressed how
fast it ran, it makes me suspect a permission problem.
