Put it in .../jdk1.3/bin as well, I run Together, works fine, if
youre on unix test "which java" to see which one runs, in wintel,
check "path" or install something like Reed Koetler Toolkit. (But
just copying the DLL will work) At least my Together does not have
its own VM. Running the installer for J3D twice, one time for the
JRE and once for the JDK also works fine
