Greetings,

I am trying to animate a childrens book using Java3D. I want to set it up
much like a karoke machine runs. I want the text to display in 2d, and as
the narration is done I would like the text to move into 3d slowly chaning
color from left to right as the narrator says each word. I am not sure
how to accomplish this! I am open to importing things into Java3D to make
this possible.

Another quark in this whole process....I am having trouble making
animations start at the proper times. I have this childrens book that is
made up of 8 pages. Each page is a branchgroup. To move through the book
a awt button is used to move to the next page. At which point the old
page branchgroup is detached and the new page branchgroup is hooked up.
My question is how do I make the animations for the specific pages start
when the new branchgroup is added, not when the whole program is run.

Thanks!

Nathan Goff
