Richard,
I am sorry I cannot answer the question - my expertise in J3D is low.
However, I would appreciate if you could send me information on whether Java
Processors (as pieces of hardware) have been marketed anywhere. Are they
available commercially on the Wintel platform?

Subject: [JAVA3D] Parallelizing the 3D API.
Hello All,
We are trying something new with real-time java processors on a PCI
card. What i now wan't to do is let the rendering be done in parallel on
other CPU's. Does anyone know which parts of the rendering/calculating
parts can be done in parallel. I.e. The behavior.processStimulus
function is called by the renderer, can i render all behaviors i have in
parallel, or are the behaviors related to eachother? I know the
behaviour scheduler has a list of behaviors for which it calls these
functions serially, but i am not sure if all the behaviors in this list
are related to eachother. Secondly how many behaviourSchedulers are
there in a given 3D applic, just 1, or 1 per virtual univers?
Hope you can help.
Richard
