What software do you get 28fps with?

If it's java based what version of JRE (1.2,1.3,1.3.1 ?) and Java3D
(1.1,1.2,1.2.1, openGL on both?) have you got?

What is the refresh rate of your monitors?

That soft of info should help someone guess what to look at.
