[JAVA3D] J3D installation on Win2K

hello all!!!   I am trying to install J3D 1.2.1 (OpenGL) on Win2K, but the installer stops responding after displaying the splash screen. I tried that with DirectX version of J3D as well, but the problem persists.   Are there any issues I need to be aware of when installing Java 3D on Win2000. I am using J2SE 1.4 beta.   Any help will be greatly appreciated.   Thanks!!   Ajit
