Hi,
I got a serious problem about my Java 3D program, which was developed six
months ago. It was working fine. Now, I updated my computer and tried to run
the Java 3D program. It did not work properly due to the hidden line problem
if I used full hardware acceleration.
I used the method discussed in the following example, which I got from Doug
of Sun Microsystems. However, even this example does not work fine if I use
full hardware acceleration. If I employ no hardware acceleration, the
program works as expected but I can not resize the window.
I tested my program in another windows 2000 machine with full hardware
acceleration and a different video card, however, everything is good.
The system I used is:
Windows 2000
jdk1.3 and java3D 1.2.1 openGL version
Video adapter: S3 ProSavage KM 133 with memory 8 MB
My question is: how to fix it? I believe that the user need to use hard
acceleration since it is default. Do they have any difference for OpenGl and
DirectX versions?
Thank you very much for help.
