I'm not encoutering any reboots with Java3D.
Win2k sp2
GeForce2 MX400 w/ 64 megs
JRE 1.3.1-b24
Java3D 1.2.1_01 (DirectX for my JRE and OpenGL for the SDK)
DirectX 8.0
I've also got a similar system with a ATI 128 Rage. No reboots here,
either.
