Hmm that's funny. I've tested it with three different machines (with
three different gfx cards and three different JDKs) all the
same result. Well my sceneRoot doesn't contain anything else besides the
Background node. If this is the problem but why does it show up as
Application? The only difference is that I've got a Frame where in
Applet-mode I have only the Canvas3D.

Yep they are cut & paste errors. But thanks for pointing them out.
Well maybe I write a test program containing the whole source. I would be
glad if someone could check on it (maybe someone from SUN ?)
