[JAVA3D] Network name not found error

Hi all,   When I tried to access my applet from my server, I am getting an error as below   (The network name cannot be found) My applet will open a file from the server (in the same path as the applet) and I am giving the name of the file as parameter in the HTML file.   Can anyone tell me why I am getting this error? Do I need to sign my applet? Is it because of proxy server( client is having proxy)?   Do I need to use URLConnection to get the file??   Pls help me.. I am stuck with this error and unable to test my applet from the server.   If there is any demo available kindly let me know.   Thanks in advance   Regards, ishwari
