I know there are problems of overdraw due to the whole heavyweight lightweight thing when using a JInternalFrame on a JDesktopPane. I’m not bothered about this.. my program works but I find that if I create more than 4 InternalFrames java3d rendering crashes out.. and no further rendering is done on any of the canvases (black canvases)

 

Is this a java3d problem? Has anyone else encountered this? Or maybe it’s just my code?

 

I have 1 entire universe per canvas3d per JInternalFrame  is it feasible? Or should I be looking at a completely diferent approach?
