Hi John,

    Please note that the latest v1.3 beta1 DirectX release
do not support stereo since DirectX8.0 didn't support it.
However DirectX v1.2.1_xx release support stereo since it use
DirectX 7.0 API. For OpenGL version stereo is support for
all Java3D release.

Please check the graphics card with vendor to see
if stereo is support via Opengl library or DirectX
library. Some vendor support stereo through other
mechanism which Java3D is not able to use. We
know some FireGL card works well with Java3D
OpenGL version.
