Just guessing, but it sounds like you have backface culling switched 
on... you won't see anything from behind if the faces are "facing away" 
from the viewer. Solutions � turn backface culling off, or add more polys 
facing the other direction, so that you can see something from both sides 
(advantage to this is you could have different texture points on the back 
face in this case).
