You don't need to load the native libs manually.

Marc van Woerkom  ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) found my application 
(http://www.geovistastudio.psu.edu/JBeanStudio), which deliver java3d JavaBeans 
compoentns using java web start, and experimented with lots of different 
configuration.  He summarized his finding in
