If anything is available from Sun we'll let the interest list know, but hopefully somebody else will also give it a shot. > Should be interesting to see how prominent an emphasis the Java3D stuff is. I guess we'll find out tomorrow. The segment focus is on human genomics research. My suspicion is that talk of Java and the Java 3D API may be considered too geeky or irrelevant for the general audience, so the producers may well cut it out. While I was there the camera operators were fascinated by the "disco" effect of molecules being projected onto the floor of the CAVE (and with the oversize slippers CAVE users have to wear on the projection surface), so that kind of gives you the orientation of the camera crew. I should have brought my Java 3D sweatshirt and coerced Paul Gordon to wear it while he was operating the CAVE... I have a Duke plush toy, that would have looked nice sitting on the server too... :) -- Mark Hood =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff JAVA3D-INTEREST".
