Dear J3d contributors at Sun,

Thanks a lot for your exellent J3d, which I'm learning and using in my post-doctoral
research project. I love Java and J3d.

However, I've been being bothered by the annoying lightweight and heavyweight mixing
problem since I started developing an application using both Swing and J3d. I've read
a lot on www.j3d.org, forum.java.sun.com and Sun's web pages concerning J3d and Swing
integration, and other accessible resources on Internet, to find workarounds. It seems
as if this mixing problem is unavoidable before the lightweight version J3d is
available.

I think that Java will be even more powerful than she is now in the near future after
the intergration between Java3D and Swing is perfect. I hope that J3d can be an
indispensable part of JFC, so that GUI and 3D Java programmers can develop powerful
softwares with a high productivity.

Regards

Guanglin Du from Beijing, P.R.China
