Thanks! I had some picture degradation on my 1600/1200 Professional-quality ViewSonic when I moved from direct to KVM connection. Not a big deal for SQL programming, but I was mostly concerned about the speed issues, rather than quality. And I also ended up spending about $35-$40/cable for premium cables ... I have regular KVM - I did not know there is USB-based KVM ...
So, although it may degrade picture slightly, it should not be slowing down the rendering (sue to the potentially slower communication between the PC video card and Monitor ?? Thanks!
