Now here is my specific question: Like many other people in this list, I'm working with terrains and landscapes. My application renders rectangular areas of several square kilometers. However, it seems like being a much smaller area when you see the terrain rendered into the Canvas3D and when you navigate throw it. I would like the terrain surface looks like very much longer than it actually does. In other words: I need more "amplitude or extension sensation". Must I trasform the whole scene with a scale factor in a TransformGroup node? Or is it possible to modify the view in such a way to do this? Which of this two approaches render faster?
