This may not be directly applicable to your situation, but the idea is the same.

I am in a lab that has an ethernet network, and one of the computers can run 3d applications very fast while the others are much slower. Is there a way to create an application that allows the user to interact with the program from a slower computer, but uses the fast computer to render the scene? Thanks!
