Hi Desiree, As you mentioned, I did post something about this a while back. I was having severe problems with Swing components. They wouldn't draw sometimes, and sometimes they would draw on top of other components. But when I switched to SDK1.4.1 beta, most of the problems went away. I still have a popup menu that doesn't draw sometimes, but that's it.
Hope that helps! -Roy Desiree Hilbring wrote: > Hi, > > with upgrading to JDK 1.4 and Java3D 1.3 from JDK 1.3 and Java3D1.2.1_04 > I am getting some repaint problems of Swing Menue, Buttons, Icons > (they remain grey until I click on them) etc. > I am seeing the problem only on Windows NT, while the Win2000 Machine > seems to be fine. > In both cases the grafic card is an Elsa Gladiac with Nvidia Geforce 2MX > chip. > There is a message in the archive which I think describes the same > problem: > > Swing drawing problems in JDK 1.4 > from Roy Duffy > > Is there any solution or more information? > > Thanks Desiree > > oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo > Desiree Hilbring > > Institut fuer Photogrammetrie und Fernerkundung > Universitaet Karlsruhe, Germany > email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > # 0721 6083676 > oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo > > =========================================================================== > To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body > of the message "signoff JAVA3D-INTEREST".
