Hi there!
If the architecture of the app is a client-server, where the
rendering is done at the client (applet)
and the objects are assembled at the 3D server, and RMI is used as
communication tool, how feasible
is to think about using one of the application servers, like
Apache/WebLogic/Oracle App server for the
3D server? It seems that for industrial/production-strength 3D
server, with RMI, security and all of the other
stuff besides the 3D part itself, there is a lot of coding that is
already available in the off-the shelf
application servers ...
Any experiences/thoughts/ideas are very appreciated!
Thanks!
Zoran
