Hi Ranjan,

this is a non trivial problem. perhaps you search the web for alpha-shapes and
molecular surfaces to get an idea of how much math and science is behind this
problem.

there are some fast c-algorithms around that can compute the surface for you. ;)
you just would need to extract and visualize their output.
